Personalized IFS Meditations

Personalized IFS Meditations with Parts Companion

Only with Parts Companion

Most "guided meditations" for IFS are pre-recorded for a general audience, assume every part is ready to connect, unaware of your protective system's concerns, and treat all parts the same.

We built something different.

Have you ever heard a guided meditation created personally for you and your parts?

Now you can…

Parts Companion generates meditations that adapt to each part's unique characteristics: their burden level, their trust in you, and whether your protectors have given permission for deeper work.

Check-In with "Rushing" Part

This manager part carries moderate burden as it protects against 'agonizing feelings' of disappointing people and the fear of losing control, indicating notable distress beneath its vigilance. With only one session and being a protector still firmly in its role (believing constant vigilance is necessary), trust is not yet established despite some initial curiosity from Self.

Check-In with "Wounded 7-year Old Part"

This exile carries significant trauma from deep betrayal at age seven, with intense emotions of pain, distrust, feeling trapped, and self-hatred when hoping for connection. Despite showing some openness by session end, this is only the first encounter with a part holding overwhelming childhood wounds, requiring careful distance and pacing for safety.

The Strategy Behind the Safety

The Strategy Behind the Safety

Three Clinical Pathways, Automatically Selected

Our system evaluates all of the sessions you've provided involving the part(s) for whom your meditation is focused, and selects the appropriate approach:

✅ Standard Approach with Contextual Invocation (Protectors & Established Parts)

For managers and protectors, the meditation helps them locate themselves by recalling the real-world circumstances that activate them, as well as their visual or somatic expressions—learned from the therapy session recordings—making connection more natural and grounded.

"If it feels okay, bringing to mind that familiar space of your kitchen, perhaps around the end of the work day, where your 'Seize the Day Part' often arises. Perhaps noticing the feeling of anxiousness in your chest, and this part's frequent message about how hard you work, and what you deserve in reward…"

🔐 Permission Protocol (Exile Work)

Before inviting any exile to connect, the meditation first checks with protective parts who guard them—honoring the fundamental IFS principle that you never bypass protectors to reach exiles.

"Before we invite Young Hurt One to connect, we want to check with the parts we know who protect them: The Nervous Part, and the Doubting Part, and ask if there any concerns about connecting today. If so, we can simply send appreciation from a distance."

🛡️ Distance Approach (Heavily Burdened Exiles)

When a part carries significant trauma, direct connection risks re-traumatization.

Instead, the meditation acknowledges the part from a safe distance, communicates loving awareness, and offers no expectation of response.

"We see that you're there, holding these hard feelings. You don't need to come closer or show us anything today. Just knowing that you exist and that you matter is enough."

Built Different: What Makes These Meditations Clinical-Grade

Built Different: What Makes These Meditations Clinical-Grade

Trauma Informed at Every Step

Trauma Informed at Every Step

Protective System Pre-Check: Before beginning, the meditation asks if any
parts have concerns about meditating today—preventing activation when your
system isn't ready

  • Multiple Consent Points: Parts hear "only if that feels okay" and "you don't
have to if you're not ready" throughout

  • Normalized Non-Response: When parts don't show up, the meditation validates
that: "If [part name] isn't ready today, that's completely okay"

  • Closing Consent: Before ending, the meditation checks if parts need anything
and asks permission for future connection

Personalized Beyond the Name

Personalized Beyond the Name

Every meditation is built from your actual session(s):

  • Part's specific protective role and how they show up in your life

  • Direct quotes from what the part said in session

  • Triggering circumstances that help protectors recognize when they're active

  • Visual, somatic, and verbal characteristics unique to how you experience
    each part

  • Relationship dynamics between parts (who protects whom, who's polarized with
    whom)

  • Session progress and any promises made to parts

Unlike generic parts-work meditations, ours follow proper therapeutic
protocol:

  • ✅ Never bypasses protectors to reach exiles

  • ✅ Checks for permission before exile work

  • ✅ Uses distance with heavily burdened parts

  • ✅ Models Self-leadership through consistent consent

  • ✅ Adapts language based on part's trust level
